(Junior) Trader – Biomethane & Gas (m/f/d)

Green Trading Energy is a specialized trader and broker of energy and GHG products, focusing on (renewable) energy — particularly biomethane — and transportation. As a team based in Germany, we work closely with a strong network of market partners across Europe. We support our clients with in-depth market analyses, the determination of current market prices, as well as active trading, brokerage, and the purchase and sale of biomethane volumes.

• You will support active trading in biomethane and gas products — both physical and in the form of certificates
• You analyze market trends and work with the team to develop trading strategies to optimize our portfolio
• You help expand existing customer relationships and identify new business opportunities
• You attend trade shows and industry events and help position Green Trading Energy in the market
• You work closely with our team and gradually take on more responsibility

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, engineering, natural sciences, or a related field.
• Initial experience (e.g., through internships, part-time student jobs, or early career years) is a plus
• Strong understanding of the market and interest in renewable energy and trading mechanisms
• Analytical thinking, initiative, and a desire to learn about new topics
• Very good German and English language skills
• Open personality, team spirit, and a sense of humor
